The Prince and his Princess

This is an old picture but, here is problem child boy and problem child girl

On Monday night we had dinner with our close friends the Hasler's. They have a little "Angel" Avery that is about the same age as Baz. Well most of the time all the two of them do is get into trouble together but, tonight they did something very sweet. they both came out of Avery's room and Avery takes Baz by the hand and says "will you be my Prince and I'll be your Princess and we will dance" And Baz smiles and says "yes" and they danced in the dinning room. How cute. Notice I didn't mention all the fighting they did :) kids are funny

This was a fun day we ran through the sprinklers at his friend Avery's house. and of course his smile is so big you can't see his eyes.

Now That summer is here Baz is just loving the water. He starts swim lessons soon, and I made the mistake of telling him so everyday he asks if its the day he can go swim. I take him to Liberty Park all the time now so he can run through the srinklers at the playground, or swim in the seven canyons fountian. He just loves it! Almost everytime we go he ends up standing there chatering his teeth with purple lips but, he won't stop he has to go through one more time, or as he says "last minute". Now he has figured out that he can run and sit on my lap with a towel wrapped around him but, he will only stay for a few seconds and then he runs off again. He is to funny.

What a wonderful Mother's Day! My little man Baz is so sweet he helped his Dado make me breakfast in bed, then ate half of it. He made me a cute card. He picked me flowers then told me how he chased ducks in the park. How great it is to be his Mama. This picture was taken when he was two days old what a cutie

Our Family

here is my Family in a nut shell. Scott and I met in May of 2001, fell in love (well Duh) and were Married August 2, 2001. We moved to Dallas Texas where Scott started with Savitz Research and I with Nordstrom’s. We did not like Texas at all no Mountains to ski on and very HOT in the summer and very COLD in the winter. So Scott and I decided to look for a new city to live in. Scott and I both wanted to move back to Salt Lake City but, jobs in Scotts field were slim to none at least for the money Scott wanted. So we decided Las Vegas would be close enough, but the problem was Scott had signed a 2 year contract and it hadn't been two years. Well a month after we had made the decision on Vegas Scott received a call from Ron Clark owner of IHR Research in Vegas, asking if he would like a job. We were thrilled so as soon as we could we packed up and moved to Viva Las Vegas. Scott was enjoying his job, and I had found work with Sony Playstation doing Tech support. It was dull work but, the perks were great I got to play video games, rent video games for free and try out new products before they were on the self. Life was grand we had made some very close friends Chris and Julia, we always had visitors (well Duh who doesn't want to go to Vegas) my Dad would visit often which made me very happy, and we were close enough to Salt Lake to hop in the car and go. But something was missing...While on at a conference with Scott in Orlando Florida I brought up the subject of kids, Scott of course was reluctant being an one child the thought of sharing me was out of the question but, after much debate we decided to take the plunge and start trying (what fun that part is) Well about two weeks after returning home from Florida, I went to do my usually morning work out video. When 5 minutes into it I got dizzy and fainted (only for a minute) Scott thought I was working to hard and went off to work. I went to Walgreen’s and bought a early pregnancy test. Went home took the test and waited...those 3 minutes take forever...Well much to my surprise I got two pink lines. What how can that be we just started trying but, we all know it only takes once. So I took two more test to the same results. I called Scott and told him he was going to be a Daddy (later on to be called Dado) and he goes silent, and to those who know Scott well he is NEVER silent. After I made sure he was still there he was supper excited. So I called my Dad he was just delighted (to those of you who know Dad he loves babies and Grand kids) We told Scotts parents that night at dinner as they were in town and what a joy for them as well. Things seemed to be falling into place until...Scott comes home and says Ron (his boss) wanted him to move to California and work for IHR's sister company STS. Boy it had only been 7 months since we had moved from Texas it felt like we could stay put. But none the less Scott took the job and we moved to Orange County California. Scott loved his new job and I babysat for his boss to make extra money until the baby arrived. It was very far from Salt Lake but, we had each other and knew we would be okay. Then Sebastian came...Oh boy what a different world this is. He came on a sunny afternoon (go figure sunny day in Southern California) August 11, 2004 @ 2:31 pm a very health and hefty boy @ 9 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. And Scott looked just as discolored as the baby did. I think because Sebastian was the clone of Scott even the Doctor said "Well we know who you belong to". The nurses took over and started to clean Sebastian up and Scotts added he looked less like a lizard. So we thought we would keep him. So our lives went from sleeping in on the weekends and long romantic dinners to long night and tons of dirty diapers. But now we really felt like a family. Life was normal, Scott worked long hours and I babysat again, this time a very sweet little girl named Skyy. Baz and Skyy had a lot of fun together. But we really missed Utah, I wanted family near to help out with Baz. So the job search was on again with no real luck until, Scott was approached by one of his clients of STS about a sales job. Scott laughed at Lance and said Jody would never move to New York (which is true) but, Lance said "well great you don't have to live in New York, you can work from home". Hooray just what we were looking for a good paying job in "Utah" or at least that’s where we wanted to be. So again we packed up and moved. Scott set up a home office and I decided to go back to work for Nordstrom. It worked well for a while until Nordstrom at least the downtown one, announced they would be closing their doors... Well now what? Well we decided to try the stay at home Mom thing again. Which has been a blessing Baz is loving it and is doing great, he can say his ABCs and 123s and is potty trained although I think Scott and I are happier about that then he is. Now I will be returning to the Murray Nordstrom’s on the weekends to help with bills. But the boys will love the time together.
