Where did September go?
Boy what a month! I feel like I have be in a haze the entire month. We closed on our house, yeepie! And we have been painting all week (yuck) if I would have known the work it took, I would have hired someone to do it. Then I had the carpet's cleaned on Thursday and we move in on Saturday. It doesn't feel real yet, but man what an exciting ride. I really feel like an adult now (yikes). And finally I think Scott and I might actually stay put for once. Although we have been in Utah almost two year's I think it's time to move again. But then again we have made such awesome friend's here (Josh and Whit, Al and Darlene, Nanette, Aleena even Jon our Realtor) to good of friends to leave behind.

Moving Stinks
We are in the process of buying a house! Yay, very exciting but, geez what work. We have been filling out so much paperwork I don't like signing my name anymore, and we haven't even closed yet! And then the process of going trough all of your own crap...thinking all the while, how long have I had this, have I even used it, and why did I think I needed it in the first place?! And trying to go through Sebastians things has been even harder because suddenly what ever I am trying to take from him is a wonderful toy, and I dare I ask him to part with it, even if it's a stupid happy meal plastic piece of junk. And of course he wants to help, which is wonderful but I can't get anything done. I know it will be wonderful to be in our own home but, moving stinks
If anyone is interested we are having a moving sale this Sat-Sun Sept 8-9 email me for the address

What a handsome Devil
I just can't help it my little man is so dang cute. He just looks so much older than he did last year. And I think finally he is starting to so some resemblance to me. It was a tough job getting him to the pictures and keeping him clean, but we made it. Not for long though. As a reward for his good behavre we bought him a cookie from Mrs. Fields, it had pink frosting on it, and sure enough where did it end up? All over the front of his nice new white shirt. Well, at least I got one stain free wear out of it.Family Picture

Typo
I consider myself to be very bright. I take in information well, and comprehend most things except for numbers. I can retain the most useless information, ever... but... I can't spell! And here the kicker I never think to hit the stupid spell check button...
So all laugh at my typo's I know I do especially when I can sing a song word for word even if I have not heard it in years...(like Color Me Bad, All for Love) Ha your singing it your head right now... See useless information. Who needs to know that? Yet, I can never remember where I put my keys, and on most days I have to wonder why I forgot to put on underware...

Soap
Today was a fun day. Sebastian decided to talk back to me while I was punishing him for jumping on me from the top of the couch. So, I decided to wash his mouth out with soap. Well it back fired, he liked the taste of it so much that he is asking for more.
I guess they don't make soap like they use to

The Gang

I found this picture today and I had to post it. It's Scott, Katie and Mitchell on graduation day from College. This was taken May 1995. Scott had a full head of hair then, and Katie and Mitchell probably would have laughed if someone said they would end up married. Well, just goes to show friends make the best lovers.
They look like babies in this picture. I just love it
What a week I am having. I feel like I am going crazy I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast today. As many of you know I have joined Weight Watchers with wonderful success and I am loving it. Well part of the program is to write down everything you eat and budget within your points. Well I guess I had a hecktic morning, I am sure I ate something but I can not remember for the life of me what it was. I Babysat for my good friend, Whitney today so I had to get moving quick so I wasn't late, and my Dad came to visit before we left. Everytime I turned around Tissi was no where to be found. So I would panic for a minute until I found her, and this happened five different times. I was spoiled with Baz he always had to be in the same room as me. He would follow me from room to room so I knew what he was getting into.
The more I watch Whit's kiddos the more I admire her as a Mother. She has a tough job, her kids are very sweet and I love them, but I needed four arms and six pairs of eyes.
I keep thinking that's why I can remember what I ate today is because I must have dropped my mind at Whit's house.
So here's to all you Mother's out there with more than two kids under the age of 3 I really don't know how you do it everyday.

Our Vacation
What a wonderful time we had in Tybee Georgia. It was a very long trip to get there but, so very worth it. The Island is so pretty and the people there were so nice. We got to the hotel late Monday June 25 2007, after two plane rides and a 5 hour drive. Baz was very tired but, couldn't wait to swim in the ocean and, visit the dolphins. We went to bed around midnight that night hoping Baz would sleep past 6 AM. We got our wish we all slept until 9:30 AM which I don't think I have slept that late since before Baz was born (those black out curtains are a god send). So we covered our self's with sunblock and headed for the beach which was right out side the hotel door.
Baz was delighted, the water was 80 degree's and the sand was soft. We made sand castle's and dug up clams to watch them dig them self's back into the sand. That night we ate at this wonderful place called the Crab Shack. The food was awesome caught that day locally and they had a ton of cats living on site, and alligator's that they raised and we got to feed them with poll's. Baz wanted to pet them and was very upset that he couldn't. Then we went to visit the light house and, of course they are my favorite structure ever. I was in awe of the island.
The next day we took a tour to see the dolphins. They follow the fishing boat's to get a free meal, we even saw a baby dolphin which was very dark in color and it's dorsal fin was still floppy. What a wonderful way to spend an hour.
We spent the rest of the trip on the beach then packed up to travel to Asheville North Carolina to see Scott's College friend's and to attend Katie and Mitchell's wedding. Asheville was very cute, tons of green everywhere you looked and pretty mountain's. Scott had not seen his friend's in years but they had worked hard to stay in touch. Our visit was wonderful all of his friend's were so nice to Baz and I, treated us like one of the gang. And the best part was I got to hear all the dirt on Scott.
Katie was so beautiful on her wedding day. I missed the ceremony (Baz was napping) but, the reception was a blast and the happy couple looked so gitty and in love.
We had such a great time we are planning another trip there next year and if thing's go well for us we would like to buy a summer home in Tybee

Cousins
The girls (especially Kass) are quit the artist so, we drew a lot of pictures with the color wonder pages I got for them. Kass is so cute and she really is a great artist, I think she will go far with it. Maddi and Baz seem to have a great time together she really liked all of his cars. They had many races on his little shake-and-go speed way. I really enjoyed having them since we don't get to see them much, Baz is so funny I was trying to explain that Kass and Maddi are girls and that he is a boy, his reply to that was "they not girls they are cousins".
This picture is at the Cobble Creek Apartments across the street from our home. There is a duck pond, and when it stopped raining we went over and feed the duck's. They had a ball, most of the duck there were babies so Kass really enjoyed as she loves babies, and I think it was better for Maddi as she is not real fond of animals getting close to her.
Baz was very sad when his cousins had to go home but, he talks about the visit all the time so I'm sure it created lots of memories.
